LUCETTE DALOZZO
"Beyond Imagination"
Exploring ones vivid imagination and understanding the essence of dreams is Lucette Dalozzo's distinction in Art. "The canvas is a mirror." Lucette contemplates, so many of my dreams and visions inspire my strokes.
Vibrant, intense and enchanting are just a few ways to describe Lucette Dalozzo's compositions, which have been collected by art enthusiasts and investors the world over. Lucette was born in Belgium and it was here she mastered the fundamentals of art at the "Academy of Fine Art," Mons. After graduating in 67', she preceded to grace some of the finest department stores with a unique style she was  already developing. After marrying her husband Louis and eager to travel, they both embarked on a journey that would change their lives forever.
Australia was a golden thread that Lucette used to weave  her artistic penchant. She quickly became recognised for her Romantic Impressionism that drew art enthusiasts world wide. Throughout the 70's and 80's she exhibited in the USA, French Polynesia, Belgium and every state in Australia. She was represented by the Australian and Swiss Embassy's in Brussels, the Consul General for Belgium in Sydney, Countess D'Outremont, Belgium, Sir Barnaby Joyce Collection, Sydney, Danny Larue and copious private and corporate collections worldwide.
Now, some years later Lucette's paintings reflect her subconscious, "My mind is the studio," she says adding, "My eyes feast on what the world has to offer. I sleep and let my dreams cast their magic, then use my hands as the vehicle of expression." During the last few years Lucette's choice of medium has become more elaborate, combining oils, acrylics and inks into a symphony of multimedia. It would be true to state there is an astonishing diversity of styles, techniques and themes that have entered the boundaries of modern Art and this in itself is one of the reasons Lucette's work is so highly applauded. She is a master of expression and has captured emotions and sensations while immersed in the hypnotic melodies of the classical composers such as Mozart and Chopin; she had literally meditated on these intricate harmonies so that she could "Paint to the music". From music to dreams, Lucette posses's a unique method of interpretation and understanding, bringing to light the finer details one might ordinarily miss. There is still a wealth of inspiration circulating the depths of Lucette's imagination, which leaves you delightfully eager for her next masterpiece

 LOUIS DALOZZO

"The Australian Landscape Specialist"
Reflecting the intense colours, defined contours and unique atmosphere of the Australian outback, is the essence of a Louis Dalozzo painting. An aura of space and timeless beauty overwhelms the observer when peering into one of Louis Dalozzo's landscapes.

Louis was born in Italy and after studying accountancy after school, he met and married his childhood sweetheart, Lucette and moved to Brussels. " We were looking for something quite different." Louis reflects, adding, "Somewhere untouched". Leaving the densely populated cities of Western Europe they travelled to the Pacific island of New Caledonia where they spent a few years in the French speaking capital Noumea, painting as a pastime and holding exhibitions of the Island's volcanic landscape. The travelling spirit still had a grasp on them and it was not until they discovered the "Great southern land" that they both found exactly what they were looking for. Louis was so taken by the sheer expanse of the deserts, canyons, gorges and rainforests it was in awe, that he made a life changing decision to focus on his childhood passion. Louis has been painting professionally for over 20 years now and has exhibited works in many of our countries state capitals and overseas in countries such as the USA and French Polynesia. He is renowned for his unique self-taught style, which accurately conveys the mood and feel of the rugged outback. His contemporary landscape, hard-edged, vibrant, with unparalleled visual perspective have won him acclaim and notoriety by both corporate and private collectors the world over. The landscape of Louis Dalozzo brings a refreshingly new approach to a subject matter widely used within this country. He persists in exploring new avenues of visualization in reference to composition and colour, which leaves you absorbed and sometimes consumed by the vastness of the panorama. "Few places on earth do we find such stunning beauty," He says. For this is the subject that continues to impact his contemporary expression in a way so singular that you can instantly recognize a Louis Dalozzo at a single glance. As Louis contemplates life as artist he replies," How lucky we are to live in the most beautiful country, to paint our visions and live out our dreams..."
