In her new exhibition at the Tosari Galleries Judith entices us into her world of colour and intrigue. From her Australian travels to tantalising Morocco.
Exotic Morocco – walled cities, kasbars, archways and mysterious alleyways, some leading us to colourful markets selling spices carpets and jewellery, colour hustle bustle everywhere.
Other archways delicately carved and decorated, embelished and painted doors, sometimes giving glimpses through to luxurious court-yards and palaces.
And the Australian travels – exotic to Judith’s eyes and so diverse – the reds and oranges of our sand dunes and deserts, blues and greens of our inland lakes and rivers. Magical Lake Mungo, dry for over 20,000 years takes on an aura of long ago, but now with sand blasted monoliths and brilliant sunsets of purples, pinks and oranges, a very strange place indeed. The flash of parrots, the wild flowers after rain break the monotony of an arid land.
This new exhibition again highlights her innovative thought and consummate colour control and clearly shows her passion for her work.
